Donuts are fine, I guess, but what I really like is getting up at 4 in the morning to make them. Or... not.
I started making donuts every Monday for my colleagues at KBS Toronto. Then, after five months, I realized that donuts every week is too many donuts. Now I make them once a month. Sometimes they’re great. Sometimes they’re not. Either way my colleagues pretend to like them.
I post pictures on Instagram, where I also post polls to select the next flavour. Here are some past selections: Chocolate Champagne Cronut, French Toast Old-Fashioned, Lamington, Lemon Pistachio, Billy Miner (inspired by the dessert at The Keg), Margarita, Maple Crème Brûlée, Honey Cruller, Red Velvet, and, of course, Sprinkles.
