Fly the Branded Skies
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been fascinated by airlines. Not airplanes, mind you — airlines. Thankfully, I completely grew out of being a nerd, but only because I lost that dope Canadian Airlines sweatshirt.
Today, I write about airline advertising and branding on my site, Fly the Branded Skies. I’ve written about the history of Eastern Air Lines, the changing landscape of the airline advertising industry, an ongoing series about airline jingles, and flying turtles.
Wings
The most popular section of Fly the Branded Skies is my collection of more than 600 junior wings. I’ve been collecting these since I was a kid. The collection now spans 217 airlines, 55 countries, six continents, and eight decades.
